Daisy & Tulip Resident Collective — Terms of Participation (No Cost)
Who we are (not an HOA).
A resident-led volunteer group for Daisy Circle & Tulip Lane. We are not an HOA, law enforcement, or a law firm.
No cost, ever.
We organize, collect reports, and communicate with owners/management at no charge. Donations (if ever requested) are optional and not required to participate or receive help.
What we do.
- Collect recent and past incident reports (anonymous allowed).
- Aggregate patterns and request reasonable safety and upkeep measures from property owners/managers.
- Share neighborhood updates and meeting information.
What we don’t do.
- We are not emergency services. For any active threat, call 911 first.
- We don’t guarantee outcomes or provide legal advice.
- No vigilantism, confrontations, or doxxing—ever.
Privacy & anonymity.
- You may report anonymously.
- If you share contact info, we use it only for this report/community updates.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We share anonymized summaries with owners/management and, when appropriate, police. If you opt in, we may share your name/contact for follow-up.
- If legally required (e.g., subpoena/court order) or there is a credible threat to life/safety, we may provide necessary information to authorities.
Data handling.
- Reports are stored in a protected Google Sheet accessible only to designated organizers.
- We aim to retain identifiable data no longer than 180 days unless a resident requests continued follow-up or the data relates to an ongoing safety effort.
- You may request deletion of your identifiable information at any time at [your email].
Code of conduct.
- Be truthful and respectful; no harassment, discrimination, or retaliation.
- Do not publish others’ personal information.
- Don’t enter private property to obtain evidence; don’t interfere with police/fire/EMS.
- Photography/video: follow the law; never risk your safety to record.
Use of reports.
- Aggregated, anonymized findings may be shared with owners/management, city/county officials, and law enforcement to advocate for lighting, cameras, access control, landscaping/sightlines, and routine upkeep.
- We may issue community alerts (no names) when patterns emerge.
No retaliation.
We oppose any retaliation for good-faith reporting. If you believe you’re experiencing retaliation, tell us and consider speaking with a Georgia attorney.
